SLA brings together the various players involved in the different areas of smart lighting and the development of smart cities. Our members and partners are both, private and public, national or local, and may be consular authorities, associations or trade unions. They work together and share information to help take on board the challenges inherent in smart lighting and create new uses.

President of the Smart Lighting Alliance: Marc ROZENBLAT

Born in Paris in 1954, Marc Rozenblat began his studies at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, where he graduated in Law.
He started his activities at the University, where he becomes the administrator and at the same time he becomes a member of the National Council for Higher Education and Research (CNESER).  He was also Director of the “Conseil National des Œuvres Universitaires et Scolaires” (CNOUS).
He founded and managed his own insurance company for 12 years; He also created the first online trading company in France.

Marc Rozemblat is the co-founder, with his longtime partner Bernard Rayard, of CDU Company, since over 15 years.

CDU Company is specialized in the creation and realization of city districts, and whole cities, with integrated services.

Honorary President and Founder of SLA, Cyril Thiriot, becomes President of SLA International

Born in 1970, Cyril Thiriot has a dual competency as a physicist and a business school graduate. He started his career developing and marketing his European patents in the field of special purpose machines.
Successively export and sales director, he gradually specialised in energy.
Four years ago, he developed a passion for Led lighting, and his first achievements made the headlines of regional newspapers and specialised journals.
In 2013, he was appointed director of OPMEC in charge of the energy cluster. He came to see LED-associated technologies (Li-Fi, etc.) as the key to a significant change in communication networks and energy management.
He founded Smart Lighting Alliance with the current Executive Committee members. He works to promote open communication systems for the benefit of owners and free services for users. Today he works to develop SLA International

General Secretary : Rodolphe MICHEL

Born in 1972 Rodolphe Michel is a graduated of ISG, he started his professional career at the French group GEODIS, where he worked in the business development. After spending several years in marketing ecological products for industry to various distribution networks, Rodolphe came to manage teams, and then whole entities. Environmentally aware and sensitive to the savings that can be made, he turned to the lighting sector three, and then that of LED since 2010. Driven by great enthusiasm for this business and the technologies it involves, he is responsible for the administration and accounting of Smart Lighting Alliance.

Treasurer : Hugues HERMENAULT

Born in Créteil on September 17, 1972, graduated from the Institute of Management & Management (IGM), started his career in business development C.I.P.E.
He quickly moved to managerial positions for the Spir Communication Group and then the MANUTAN Group from August 2006 for 7 years as Executive Director in charge of the South Zone.
In June 2013, after attending a presentation on the Lifi, he left this beautiful company for a more personal project, he bought a company specialized in Network & Telecoms (AllSet) and joined the Smart Lighting Alliance. He became Treasurer of SLA on April 14, 2016.

They are appointed for a maximum of three (3) years. They assist the President in the exercise of his functions and duties.
